In this latest episode of The World of Science, Fiona is delighted to be joined by Radmila Topalovic. Radmila has newly joined Morley College London as Programme Manager for Maths at the North Kensington Centre for Skills. Radmila Topalovic is an urban astronomer who holds a Ph.D. in Astrochemistry and a BSc in Physics with Astrophysics. In 2016, Radmila co-authored the popular Collins Astronomy book Stargazing with fellow astronomer Tom Kerss and she is currently working on a range of guides to the night sky for 2025 in collaboration with the Royal Observatory Greenwich, due Summer 2024. In this episode Radmila discusses her journey as a woman navigating the physical science world, her love of the night sky, and answers the very important question ‘is there life on other planets?’. Fahkir Imran (BTEC L2 Science student) joins Fiona as guest co-host for this episode.
