Siccar Point is a rocky area located on the east coast of Scotland in Berwickshire. It is famous in the history of geology and is where James Hutton claimed proof of his theory of geological development. In this episode, Fiona talks with Dr Lucas Buchanan, tutor for the Key Concepts in Science: Earth Science course, about his passion for geology, the history of Siccar Point and why it is so important to geologists.
