Daverage Normal’s Average Podcast Show brings you closer to new and upcoming musical creators. Avoiding a rapid fire 20 question interview we aim to pose some key open questions which will allow the artist to discuss and go off on their own tangents about who they are. We will also listen to one of their tracks and discuss the creative process they went through in bringing it to life.
Joining us from Queens in this episode is Teddie who is the front man of New York trio The Loosies. As a 3-piece creating a vibrant and energised delivery of mid 90’s influenced cross over (think MTV2 back in the day) with drums, bass, and vocals we discussed how they balanced life, work and music during the lockdown period. Stories about playing 2 gigs a night, moving their kit around in a wheelbarrow between shows and the live scene in New York you can feel the buzz that Teddie brings to a show, and as such it was a challenge keeping this interview within an acceptable time limit. Add to that their track Poison and its beauty in its transparency and delivery, you really do feel that The Loosies are on a strong path.
