Tinuke Craig is Dr Florence Marfo’s guest in this final episode of Crafted: Stories of Black Artistry. In this podcast, Tinuke reflects on a childhood enriched by the arts, despite her family’s financial hardships. She candidly discusses the challenges and rewards of being a stage director and the professional versatility required to sustain a career in the field. Tunike was director of A Raisin in the Sun, which ran at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith in 2024. She also directed August Wilson’s Jitney at the Leeds Playhouse; Vassa at the Almeida; and The Color Purple at the threatres Leicester Curve and Birmingham Hippodrome.
