Jaqi Loye-Brown is Dr Florence Marfo’s guest in this episode of Crafted: Stories of Black Artistry. Amongst her many writing pursuits is spoken word prose in short form and what Jaqi calls ‘dutty sink drama’ (her cultural take on kitchen sink drama). In this podcast, Jaqi shares with Florence her art and life in the UK and talks about the Windrush scandal. In addition to her having performed at WOMAD, a photograph of Jaqi was exhibited at the Tate Britain in ‘Photographing 80s Britain: A Critical Decade’ by Franklyn Rodgers (21.11.24 -05.05.25).
