Cherish Is the Word: A love letter to music
June
10.07.26
Cherish Is the Word is a monthly show where music is treated as memory, diary, and companion.
Each show takes one month of the year and revisits ten years of carefully curated playlists, consolidating them into a single letter told through songs that stayed – tracks tied to moments, people, and turning points. Along the way, Georgia shares the stories behind the music, reflecting on how songs shape who we are and how their meanings change over time.
The show holds both light and dark, nostalgia and discovery, and always returns to the present with music from the current month. Occasional guests join to share tracks they cherish and their own relationship with music.
This June letter features a special Cherish Terrace conversation with fellow Morley Radio host Kiersa Berg (I think you’ll like this), sharing music she cherishes and her own relationship with song.
All the music you’ll hear in this show comes from a decade of June playlists, selections gathered from 2016 through to 2026.
