Cherish Is the Word: A love letter to music
April
01.05.26
Cherish Is the Word is a monthly show where music is treated as memory, diary, and companion.
Each show takes one month of the year and revisits ten years of carefully curated playlists, consolidating them into a single letter told through songs that stayed – tracks tied to moments, people, and turning points. Along the way, Georgia shares the stories behind the music, reflecting on how songs shape who we are and how their meanings change over time.
The show holds both light and dark, nostalgia and discovery, and always returns to the present with music from the current month. Occasional guests join to share tracks they cherish and their own relationship with music.
This April letter moves from formative early finds through to songs that have gathered new meaning over time, alongside a Cherish Lounge guest segment with Tracey Hammett, sharing music she holds close.
All the music you’ll hear in this show comes from a decade of April playlists, selections gathered from 2016 through to 2026.
