Writers Greenroom is a live radio show where playwrights Conor and Wendy sit down with writers, directors, actors, and artists to talk about the messy, beautiful process of creating stories. From the page to the theatre or publisher and everything in between, they ask the questions you wish you’d asked. Expect lively conversations, thoughtful interviews, and plenty of off-script moments as they explore how words move from imagination to audience.
This month Conor and Wendy talk to Courttia Newland about his new book of essays The Art of Opposition and how we shouldn’t have to conform to what other’s think our writing should be about. We’ll also be discussing stereotypes and truth. It’ll be a very interesting session interspersed with a fantastic poetry reading of Tom’s Pouch of Cure-Stones By Paul McMahon and a run-down of what we’ve seen, done and what you might enjoy out there in theatre land.
