Cherish Is the Word

A love letter to music - February

Cherish Is the Word: A love letter to music

February

27.02.26

Cherish Is the Word is a monthly show where music is treated as memory, diary, and companion.

Each show takes one month of the year and revisits ten years of carefully curated playlists, consolidating them into a single letter told through songs that stayed – tracks tied to moments, people, and turning points. Along the way, Georgia shares the stories behind the music, reflecting on how songs shape who we are and how their meanings change over time.

The show holds both light and dark, nostalgia and discovery, and always returns to the present with music from the current month. Occasional guests join to share tracks they cherish and their own relationship with music.

In this February letter, Georgia is joined halfway through by her lifelong friend Hannah to share and reflect on two songs she’s cherished over the years. Together they explore friendship, memory, and the role music plays in shaping who we are.
