Esme Henry tells her fascinating story for this month’s episode of Student Stories Podcast. Esme came to South London in the mid 1960’s from Jamaica. She first worked as machinist in Soho creating women’s coats for Burberry and later proudly worked as a receptionist in the House of Commons. Esme’s dedication to learning at Morley goes back over thirty years – starting with cookery classes before moving onto theatre classes and weekly Dance Stretch classes.
