Episode 6: Portuguese with Dr. Florence Marfo
Welcome to the Language of the Month Podcast on Morley Radio. In each episode, Florence Marfo (Programme Manager at Morley College London Waterloo) will be featuring a different language and inviting tutors and students to talk about their experiences with the language.
This month we celebrate Portuguese, the world’s 6th most spoken language. Vauxhall in Lambeth is home to one of the largest Portuguese communities in Europe outside of Portugal. Morley College has a longstanding tradition of teaching Portuguese, with Portuguese-speaking tutors from a variety of country.
This podcast also feature two students from the Stage 1 lockdown class. There are also useful language-learning tips from Florence Marfo, Programme Manager for Languages at Morley.
